One-hour walks for sociable dogs in carefully matched groups of just three or four.

Group walks give suitable dogs exercise, company and time to explore with familiar companions. We keep every group to three or four dogs rather than walking a large pack. Dogs are matched by temperament, size, energy level and walking pace, with gradual introductions before they join a regular slot.
Each one-hour walk takes place on an appropriate local route with room to move safely. We monitor play, body language and recall throughout the outing. Dogs remain on lead or long line unless off-lead permission has been agreed and the setting is safe. Collection and return time is separate from the full walking hour, and dogs are returned securely with water checked and muddy paws dried.
One-hour small group walk: £14 per dog
Is a Group Walk Suitable?
Group walks are intended for dogs who are comfortable around other dogs and can travel and walk calmly with companions. A free trial walk lets us assess fit without pressure. Dogs who need more space, have significant reactivity, or require a slower pace are better served by a solo walk.
Areas Covered
Small group walks are offered in and around Wheathampstead, Harpenden, Redbourn, Kimpton and north St Albans, subject to route and collection availability.
