Practical Care While You Are Out

A drop-in visit helps when your dog does not need, or is not ready for, a full walk. For puppies, a visit can include a garden toilet break, feeding, fresh water, a short play session and calm reinforcement of your existing routine. We follow your instructions rather than introducing new training methods without agreement.

Visits are also suitable for senior dogs, dogs resting after treatment, or adult dogs who need a midday comfort break. We can provide company, check water, serve a prepared meal and follow clearly written medication instructions where agreed. Visits do not replace veterinary care or overnight pet sitting, but they provide a reliable check-in during the working day.

Planning Your Visits

Before the first booking, we arrange a meet-and-greet to learn your dog's routine and confirm access, alarms, keys, feeding quantities, emergency contacts and household boundaries. Puppies can move on to short solo walks when their vaccinations, confidence and development make that appropriate.

Home visits are available in Wheathampstead, Harpenden, Redbourn, Kimpton and north St Albans. We are fully insured, DBS checked and pet first aid trained.
